OIL LEAK craftsman(techumsah)12hp

i have a 12 hp craftsman engine, when running oil leaks from a gasket near the bottom of the engine, this gasket encompasses the whole bottom of the engine I believe it is mounting flange gasket? Is this a easy replacement, I am pretty handy.Anything to look out for when I seperate to access gasket(when I pull it apart will anything fall out?) Any information would be greatly appreciated

thank you

joe

Just drain the oil, turn it upside down and pull the sump off. You might want to check first that the bolts may have simply worked loose and require tightening. That is a common problem a little loc-tite can cure.
