Yardman lawn tractor
Aside from sharp blades, is there anything else that can be done to help my mower cut without leaving a strip of grass in the center when cutting on the highest setting?

are the blades even when turned toward each other?
You may have a bent blade or a bent deck.
The blades should not be further apart than 1/8 th inch and they should be the same height when as close together as they get.
