How do I reinstall throttle valve, Walbro Carb?

I have a Mantis Mini tiller with a Walbro 45 carburetor I took apart to clean and now I can't the the throttle valve back in. Already broke one throttle shaft trying to get it past the valve to screw it back on. There must be some trick to it, I can get it inserted but it does not move freely and does not line up to attach throttle shaft. I was able to get a used shaft from a local shop but I don't want to break ano ther one trying.

What specific model and serial carburetor do you have? I'm not sure why you're having trouble. Walbro 45 doesn't tell us enough. Look for all numbers/letters on the carb body and post back with such.

Thanks. I decided to take it to a local shop and have it reassembled. It was spewing gas when it was running. I think I put some of the gaskets in wrong as well.

It was cheap and now it runs. Sometimes it better to leave to the pros.
