Question

Need info on how to install a 111" Belt on Mowerdeck. It has 2 Pulley's on the back of the deck and on in front. Don't know much about the mower exept that it's a 12hp Mower and is at least 13+years old.
If anyone knows how to install Mowerdeck Belt plaese reply to

P.S. Sears can't help because I can't find Model#.

sound like you have a sears model 917253250 serial#11827 deck mower try jacks small engine repair on internet.

magneto setting

i have a craftsman ridin' mower model # 917.256571. i cannot get fire to my plugs. i checked the magneto and one side was loose. can someone tell me how to gauge the correct distance between the magneto and flywheel or whatever it is i can do to get'r goin' again. thanks. jimbo

thanks geo! one more question for now. should the flywheel position line up magneticly at the magneto location, or non magneticly at the magneto location when trying to tune /time this engine?
