Lawn Mower Won't Start

Help, my lawn mower won't start. I replaced the spark plug. It's only two years old but did sit in storage for one year.

Thanks for reading.

I always make sure there is no old gas in the mower. Try starting it after replacing with fresh gas.

I'm no expert, but I've dealt a lot with balky mowers.

1) put in a new spark plug (inexpensive) check gap...
2) remove the air cleaner and see if it starts without it. If so, replace cleaner material.
3) drain gas, put in fresh.
4) try starting ether (spray can at AutoZone) and see if it fires up.
Gas, air and spark is all it needs. They're really pretty simple. Good luck.
