I just replaced the fuel line and in-line fuel filter it ran fine for ten minutes then abuptly shut down and started leaking fuel around the carb and making a ticking noise that it never had before any suggestions would help thanks.

where's the ticking noise from, engine? as for the fuel, make sure the line is on good.

Sounds like you may have gotten some trash (possibly a piece of fuel line) in the carburetor inlet needle. Remove the bowl and float and needle to clean out the inlet port. The ticking was probably from the gas hitting the hot insides of the combustion chamber. After you get the leak fixed, you'll probably have to change the oil, since gas probably got into the crankcase.
