Craftsmen and Murray Snowblowers
I am shopping for a replacement for my 30 year old MTD snowblower.
I have narrowed my choice down to two machines, the Craftsman 27" 9HP Techumseh Snow King Model and the Murray 10 HP 27" Briggs and Stratton .
Any thoughts on these blowers ? I looked at the Toro Line as well but was not impressed by the plastic components
located on the blowers.
Thank You In Advance

i'd get the craftsman, best warranty anyway since sears does their warranty, i dunno if murray will stay in buisness or not... though if the old mtd isn't too bad, just the engine, why not a new engine for it?

Casey915,
A Briggs engine does have the edge over Tecumseh. Parts are easier to find and come by for these engines.
Both units are good choices but I would choose the B$S over the Tecumseh for value and ease of obtaining replacement parts!
