Craftsman 12.5 HP Start problem

I have a Craftsman 12.5 HP lawn tractor that doesn't start. I turn the key with the clutch in and get a click sound from the solenoid (I think). The lights work and the battery has a charge. I just replaced the solenoid and it still clicks. Where do I go from here?

Hopefully, you have a flywheel screen style that will allow you to take such in the palm of both of your hands and rock it back and forth. The idea here is that perhaps the starter gear is stuck into the flywheel ring gear and this should free it up and furthermore, this is an only one-time occurence. Make sure the key is in the "off" position when doing such. Otherwise, if this doesn't do the trick and in fact the starter gear was not jammed then you need to check into the following: 1- Poor cable connection(s), paying particular attention to the frame end of the battery ground cable. 2- The starter motor itself, removal of such and bench test to determine the exact trouble.
