craftsman 34cc 4 cycle weed wacker clutch

I bought a new weed wacker today from sears . $169.00 .just so I could take it apart to use it as a engine to power assist my bicycle.
I pulled the shaft off and tapped the square hole on the part that the trimmer shaft connects into.
I screwed a skate board wheel into the short shaft to make it a direct drive from the motor to on top of the tire.
Everything was fine till I was half way down the street and the clutch is now a wobbly mess!
I have taken every screw off the body and still can not get the front plastic off.
How does the clutch come off and can i make it a direct drive with out a clutch?
My Homelite 30cc 2 cycle was hooked up the same way and never had a problem

Any ideas?

Thnaks in advance for any answers

(PS I was lucky to find this place, you guys have some great answers!)

There is probably a screw down in the hole you tapped. You remove that screw, pull the clutch bell, and then unscrew the clutch itself.
