Briggs & Stratton Carb mechanism
Hi All,
need help with my lawn mower engine.
its a B&S Quattro 40
this weekend the entire carb assembly shook loose by missing one bolt.
I inadvertly disconnected the springs and linkage.
Now I dont know how they go back.
Any tips on how the springs connect-
Any pictures available.
Thanks
Tony

should use a windvane governor, anyway, the linkage on it is easy, the link, with the loop, loop up, short end hooked into the windvane flap (make sure the windvane moves freely) then the other end into the hole, on the throttle shaft, in that little hole there, the springs hook to the loop, then to the big hole, for the speed control, if it has one.
forgot to ask if it was a float type carb, or diapragm type.
