Blown B&S 28N707 - pictures

Hi all and Happy New Year!!

I hope everyone had a nice holiday. Well I finally got time to post the pictures of the blown B&S 28N707. Here is the link:

Also for those that have not followed the saga here is the link to the page where I replaced the head gasket on this engine before it blew (the head gasket job did not cause the failure, but the bad gasket caused oil consumption that led to low oil level that did eventually contribute to the failure):

OUCH!!!! I don't think JB Weld is gonna fix that.

yeah you can see the heavy scaring on whats left of the rod end..... new engine looks nice, need to clean that deck though

Oh man, i'm rebuilding a 190707-1148 and soon to be rebuilding 252707-0132. I'll definitely be checking my torque on my rod bolts, and every other bolt!
