gas leaking from tiny pin hole on side of carb

please help. i noticed gas leaking out of my carb from a tiny pin size hole on side of it. its a craftsman snowblower.

without any info on the engine model #,, it sounds like a high float level.

I suggest replacing the fuel inlet needle and seat in the carb. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes and a couple bucks.

Make sure when you replace the inlet needle and seat you shake the float to notice if there is any fuel in it. There should not be. Otherwise it will sink, not float and thereby leak fuel out that tiny hole (atmospheric vent).
