Setting valves on 990r

Hello all and Cheese! It's been 2 years since I worked on one of these things so please remind me how to set the OHV's on this Ryobi 990r to .004 - .006. I have rotated untill both valves are closed and set the gap on both arms to .005? I've been working on 2 cycles so long I've forgotten how to do this...properly? Cheese, my back is doing really good. This great weather has helped a lot! What happened to winter? As always "thanks for the help", Ron
