Red face old 9hp horizontal briggs...mag./flywheel gap

can someone tell me off the top of yer head? thanks in advance.

.006 to .010,any rust on the magnets should be removed for strong spark.if you have any 35mm photo negetives,2 of those make a good ,flexable gap gauge.

i usually gap it with a dollar bill, some do it with buisness card, just get the mag close and lightly tightened down so you can move it with a little force, insert film like said above, dollar bill or card, get it so it slides out with some tugging required, but doesn't tear, and pull it out, check for catching, and tighten the mag, take some sand paper to the rust if it has any. also make sure the mag is done as well, for rust where it meets the flywheel.
