WALBRO SDU carb internals question: ball bearings part of rebuild kit?

I have an WALBRO SDU carb from my good-ole remington chain saw. I took it apart years ago, and I seem to remember that when I took it apart there were some very small ball bearing valves that fell out. Are these part of the kit or do I need to buy a new carb (this was indicated when I tried to buy kit by vendor, seemed like he knew his stuff).

Thanks
Bruce

You must be referring to the ball (and spring) that provides tension on the choke shaft whereas the ball pushes against the shaft of choke lever and sets in corresponding sockets to keep the choke in specific positions (open, half-choke and closed). There is a tiny hole that you first insert the spring and then the ball and then install the choke shaft and finally the choke plate.

Was that it Brucer? By the way the carburetor should be a model series SDC.
