Is there any trick to making it strong again?
It was 94 in TX today and yesterday, and so I decided to work on my 2 lawnmowers and get them ready for the spring.
The throttle was kinda weak on one, I turned the throttle sping all the way and it was weak, I took the mower apart and pushed the spring together, and fixed one of the ends as it was almost ready to bend off
Perhaps if the metal was a little thicker or something or maybe if I could find a place in town that sold just the spring without all the other parts

A weak spring will always be weak unless you have a way to temper it to factory specifications and then it just isn't worth the time when you can buy a new one for a couple bucks. Post back with the brand engine and the ID numbers of such.
