Pressure washer

Does anyone know where I might find some repair information on a "TP 2530" - GP pressure washer pump. Can someone explain how a unloader valve operates?

not sure what your numbers mean. got a pump mfg name?
the unloader does what it sounds like. when you shut off the gun the pressure developed by the pump is recirculated. it's controlled by a spring and ball and sometimes adjustable.
what kind of problem are you having ?

I've gotten a GP (General Pump Inc.) pressure washer pump with a GX200 6.5 Hp Honda engine. I just finished servicing the engine (changed oil, replaced spark plug and replaced air filter element & ect.) when I tired running the pressure washer and when I would release the trigger...water would stream out of a (over pressure device?). It also would make a whinning noise after I shut the engine off until I turned off the water. I know very little about a pressure washer...is this normal. It belongs to my next door neighbor and I don't (think) he has had this problem. It is a fairly new machine.
