how to adjust carb
I wrote a post not too long ago about my mower not running very well. I've taken some peoples advice and I'm going to rebuild the carb. The oil smells like gas and is way overfull. After I do this, what is the correct way to adjust/tune the idle speed and mixture of the carb. My mower is a Sabre and it has a Briggs and stratton 15 hp (model 28N707) engine. one more thing, the carb is the large briggs and stratton/ walbro if that matters.

Is the carb full of trash? If not, I'd reccomend just a good cleaning and replace the needle, and seat if it has a rubber seat, and float if it has gas in the float. You can probably leave the adjustments where they are. If you want, you can adjust the mixture screw by turning it in until it lightly seats, then back it out 1 1/2 turns and fine tune from there if needed.
