Weekwacker type recommendation needed
Hi. I currently have your standard weedwacker, but it's on it's last legs so I need to replace it.
The things I DON'T like about my current weedwacker are:
a) The line constantly has problems coming out of the "bump" feeder. So I'm really looking for something other than that feed mechanism.
b) The line (.080) get chewed up pretty quickly by the landscaping bricks (cottage stones) I have all around the house.
So, I'm looking at weedwackers that DON'T have a bump feeder, and instead just have a disk where you attach short pieces of line (easy replacement). But I'm concerned that those lines, even though I can get them thicker, will still get chewed up by the landscaping bricks.
So, my questions are:
a) Will a .095 or .103 line still get chewed up quickly by the bricks? (i.e. does anyone have any experience with those thicknesses against cottage stones?).
b) Any other recommendations?
Thanks!

When it comes to brand..... I like to say echo's... as for line, mine uses .105 line and after a year it still has the same line in it..... no experience around what you have but I do tend to hit sheds, rocks, and trees with it. Have titanium line for when this runs out. (supposed to have titanium in it)
