Hydrostatic Transmission

I have 2 question.
1. What kind of fluid do you put in a Husqvarna YTH150 Hydrostatic Transmission?

2.Where do I find a repair manual for Hydrostatic transmissions?

If anyone can answer these questions it would be most helpful.

thank you

I'm not sure what fluid goes in that tranny. When I do need hydro fluid, I always use Hygard fluid, from a john deere dealership, unless I know it takes otherwise. I haven't had a problem using it yet.

As for a manual, I don't know that either, but you could try contacting the manufacturer of the unit. Info/literature on hydro trannies seems to be scarce.
