deck spring location on huskee lawn tractor

I dropped the deck to change the blades on a Huskee 21 h.p. 46" cut model #13at688h131. I had to get a new drive belt and a few days had gone by and I need a detailed diagram on where two springs go. One is attatched to the blade brake shoe, and the other is the main tension spring, according to the owners manual goes on the left side of the rear axle, but I see no place to hook it. Any help or references would be appreciated. Thanks, Ray

Look at the two bolts that hold the transaxle on at the left axle. They should also be holding a bracket on that drops down with a hook at the end. This is where the main spring connects. It's a job to get it on. I usually use a piece of old pull rope tied into a big hoop and hook it to the spring and pull until I can hook the spring onto the bracket.
