Lawnboy 10424 Surging

I have had this mower for some time now and the last couple of seasons it seem like the governer isn't working correct. The mower runs but surges the whole time its running. is there something I can do to remedy this? It has a DuraForce 6.5 hp 2 stroke engine. Thanks for any help!

By your description,it's not the governor. The air filter is gatting too dirty.Or more that likely you need to disamble and clean the carb.

Carb cleaner

Thanks repair guy! I sprayed some choke and carb cleaner in the carb and it seemed to help but I may have to take it apart and clean it even better thanks again.
