Lawnboy died when cutting lawn

I have a push Lawnboy don't know the model number but it's a few years old. There were signs that something was going wrong when I was cutting the lawn yesterday. It started putt- putting... vrooom, rrrrr , vrooom, rrrrrr , vrooom, then it died.

I took the sparkplug out to find no foul up. gap looked good but I didn't check it for the specific gap required.

sounds like a fuel problem?
Any suggestions?

Yep, sounds like fuel problems...like either it ran out of gas (line clogged, fuel turned off, etc...) or it got water in the carburetor. You can remove the carb bowl and check the fuel flow and check for water.
