LawnBoy Rotary Push Mower Spark Plug Gap

Can anyone tell me what the spark plug gap should be on LawnBoy Rotary Push Mower Model No. 8270-A. I hear the magneto gap is 0.10". Also anyone tell me how to set throttle gear wheel. Before I start mower(or try anyhow) should the butterfly valve be open, closed, or partially opened.

.030" plug gap. I set the throttle open. Close the choke if it has one to start. If it has a primer, then it has no choke.
