Duro Power

Anybody know about Duro Power generator engines? It's an odd one..... 8 hp OHV, slant horizontal design.... I've never seen one until now.

Thanks in advance for any input!

Dave, Does it have shielded plug wires, or locking wires thru screw heads?? It may be a military engine if it does. I've seen some unusual Fairchild, Chrysler & Lister engines, all air cooled, just for military pourposes. Sorry, can't help much here

hopkinsr2,

Thank you much. Sounds like you are in the know.....! You have gave the answer I was looking for. Thank you for your reply! It does have a shielded plug wire, indeed!!! However, this is not a "mil spec" issue but very well could be.

I was wanting to know does "Duro Power" supply the military with engines / generators? If so, one could not go wrong with it's purchase.......!
