Riding mower tow package?

Hey,
I bought a pull behind sprayer but have an older MTD riding mower (400 series-36" deck) that came without any hitch to connect to.

Are there any add-on hitches available anywhere that are universal? Or, does not having a "factory" hitch already there mean the mower is just not rated to pull at all?

I have a Kubota tractor that I might could rig up to pull, but that thing will dwarf that 25 gallon sprayer.

Any info and experience would greatly be appreciated.

You should be able to pull that small sprayer around just fine. You could just drill a hole in the back of the mower frame and mount an eyebolt to connect the sprayer to.

God bless!

Thankyou for that suggestion. The eyebolt seems ideal. I'll just have to figure how to connect with what I have on the back of that thing.

Oh yeah, sprayer is nothing..... I have one pulling a 100 or so pound trailer, and have hauled around 50 pounds of wood with it. Or chain it to something that needs to get pulled out...lol
