chainsaw will not start

I have a poulan chainsaw, just a few years old. It started up the other day, then I shut it off and I have never been able to start it again. I've pulled the plug, cleaned it, but it looks fine. I let it sit overnight, and it seems to want to start on the first pull, then nothing.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Take the muffler off and check the inside of the cylinder for scaring,if none check the compression (95 or higher is ideal).
Check for pin holes in the fuel line.Is the fuel filter still atached?
Is it getting spark from the plug wire itself?
