mower problems

I have a murry and it only starts under full choke. after that will run fine then the governor seems to pull throttle plate open and kills the engine. Also dies when engaging the blades. It is a Briggs 402707

Is the air filter new?
Is the gas fresh or fuel you used stored with a stabilizer? sounds like carb needs cleaning or air filter.

The air filter is ok, spark plugs good, fuel looks good. I was leaning to the diaphram in carb? Maybe that is bad ?

I think you need to clean the carb well to get this one running right again.
