Sears/Craftsman gas chainsaw 18 inch
Model # 358.356240
Put regular gas in by mistake, took apart to clean out line and moved idle screw by mistake.
I can't get it adjusted right. Can any one help?

Idle air mixture screw, or idle speed screw? If it's the mixture screw, turn it in until lightly seated, then back it out about 1 1/2 turns and fine tune from there. Did you run it with the straight gas?

Thanks cheese
I think this is what I needed.
I ran the saw on reg. gas for about 10 seconds.
Cleaned it out and got it started, but it only ran for about 1/2 minute. It idled real fast.
I'll set the screw like you suggested and see if it does the trick.

Ten seconds on straight, unmixed fuel is all it takes to score the piston and cylinder on a two-stroke. Pull the muffler and have a look. I believe you'll have a badly damaged engine.
