Weedeater featherlite L & H speed jets.

Does anyone have a suggestion for removing these two jets? There are no limiter caps or slots for a screwdriver, and they are located inside an oval casting that gives no room for any kind of tool that I have. What suggestions does anyone offer to remove them to clean the carb and reinstall a new kit.

They are basically non-serviceable to the DIYer. There is a tool made for removal, but you probably won't find one for sale to the general public. You may be able to take the carb to a small engine shop and have them remove the screws for you, but you'll ahve to go back to get them adjusted after cleaning. I'd suggest trying to clean it without removing the screws first.

As Cheese said, the screws are factory set and do not need to be removed for cleaning. Although I have the tool, I have never found it nessesary to remove them for rebuilding or cleaning.
