Murray belts

I have a Murray 38515X92 rider. The parts list calls for a 037 X 86MA deck belt, which measures 84-3/8". I got a 37 X 86 belt which worked fine. My question is, what significance does the "MA" have? Also, why dosen't the "86" stand for 86". This is all quite confusing to me.

Since Briggs bought out Murray they have added "MA" on to the end of all Murray part numbers. The 37X86 is just a part number. All 37X numbers are belts, all 9X numbers are shoulder bolts, all 15X numbers are nuts and so on and so forth.
