Craftsman Brushwacker
I have a 32cc Craftsman brushwacker that will only opperate with the choke 3/4 the way to full. when I try to wean off the choke it will stall. My power is greatly reduced running it while on a choke position. I had the carb. kit put in last year by a "qualified repair shop". Can I adjust the carb. to overcome this? Please help, I dont want to take it back the "that" shop but its the only one around.

If you do have adjustments, you can try to open up the high fuel needle. Try a 1/4 turn out and see if it helps. The high needle is the one closest to the air cleaner. If the unit is newer, you likely don't have any adjustments and will then have to recondition the carburetor again. If you only have one adjustment it will be the low fuel needle and again, you can only try to open up and see if it works.
