New Chainsaw Mixture

Do you think new chainsaws ship with a rich mixture?

I bought a Poulin Pro ($150 happy homeowner model...) last week and it seems to be rich. I've been letting it go untill I run five or six tanks of gas through it so it's well lubed during break-in. I'm just curious if I've got one out of adjustment or it the manufacturers ship them a bit rich on purpose to be on the safe side and/or to keep them well lubed through the break-in?

The best thing to do is to take it to a Poulin service center. If you mess with the carb you could void the warranty.

No, they shouldn't be rich. I agree, take to a warranty center.
