Weed Eater Cuts Off

I have an echo srm-2400 weed eater.I can get the thing to start and run just fine. But, whenever I mash the trigger to give it gas, it just cuts off.I've replaced the spark plug, and the filter inside the gas tank.I've also tried a fresh fuel mixture. No luck....
Does anyone have any clues?

thanks

Check the exhaust. The spark arrestor could be plugged with carbon.

If that isn't the problem, it's probably carb related. I'm not sure if this trimmer carb has adjustable fuel mixture screws, but if it does, open the high speed screw (the one closest to the air filter) about 1/8 to 1/4 turn and see how it does. You may need to fine tune it back nearly to where it was once it gets started and sucks the trash through. If it doesn't help, you'll need to clean the carb.
