hard to start power washer

hard to start power washer

I can't get my power washer started I just purchase use, when I try to start it hard to pull and it barely turn the engine after three cranks im worn out. can somebody please help me, I have a craftsmans with the honda engine 2400 psi, 5.5 HP, 2.2 gpm

When you bought it did anyone put motor oil in it?When you got it did anyone crank it?Check the oil just to be sure.

Be sure that the water is fully on and hold the trigger to the wand on.

Repair Guy has the answer. Make sure you have the trigger on the wand pulled when you pull the starter cord. You'll be amazed at how easy it starts then.

how do you know if the pump is gone as you can see I never had a power washer

Take the pump off the engine and if you have no more problems pulling the engine,the pump is your problem.

If this is the case reply back with MFG.of the pump,model #,serial# of the pump & someone will be able to help.
