mccullough 2815 Weed eater carb adjustment

I need help adjusting the carb set srews. It will run for a minute and then quit

The one closest to the air filter (high speed mixture screw) should be adjusted while the engine is at full throttle. The other is the idle mixture screw and should be adjusted at idle. Adjust both to just a tad on the rich side.

The two most likely problems (but not the only) for it to run a minute and quit are a plugged gas tank breather or a weak/failing ignition coil. Did adjusting the carburetor settings provide any relief?
