Briggs Bushing/Seal

I have a B&S 6hp
Model 12H807
Type 1756-E3
Code 98020457
Question: Can I remove and replace the Bushing/Seal (Magneto side) Briggs Part no. 399269 without disassembling the engine. I can't find anything in my searches, my Briggs manual 270962 was printed in the 70's and doesn't show anything. Mower runs fine but has a knock which is the flywheel bouncing between the magneto and the alternator. Thanks and have a good one. Geo

The seal, yes. The bushing,I would not think so, considering it takes a special tool to cut the seat to drive it into the block. And the tool is long enough to reach all the way through the engine from mag side through PTO side with a tapper, in order to keep the cut straight.

I've already forgot the P/N for the cutter but maybe someone can be able to look it up and tell you.
