No spark. Honda 4213 Lawn tractor

I have no spark on my old Honda 4213 lawn tractor. Fuses are OK. It appears to have a magneto .... no distributor /condenser/points. I have read something about a "CDI" unit that may be involved. Before I try to replace this unit might you have any advice? How would I obtain a shop manual?
Thanks

Before you replace the CDI, remove the ground wire from it and test for spark again. You may have a safety switch causing the no spark condition and the are much cheaper to replace than the CDI unit. When you disconect the ground wire, you are also disconnecting the safety system, so if you get spark with the ground disconnected, the CDI is good, if not then it is the CDI causing the no spark condition
