looking to pick some ones brains about hydrolics

looking to pick some ones brains about hydrolics

any one know any thing about hydrolics? I need some help with a boom mower. certain features wont work after it gets hot where should i look first.

I am not real familiar with the type of equipment you have, but generally if you are having problems with the hydraulics when they heat up, that would indicate that you may be getting air bubbles in the hydraulic fluid. Look in your fluid reservoir to see if you have a lot of bubbles or foaming when it starts giving you problems. If so then check and make sure you are using the proper fluid for your pumps and or check all your fittings and hoses for any air leaks.

This is just based upon my general knowledge of hydro drive systems.

thanks for the reply i had a guy check it today that is a part of the problem it is sucking a lil air but the bigest turns out the control valve is bad and its blowing by even more so after it gets hot
