Toro self-propelled

I was doing some basic maintenece on my Toro,6.5 hp,mower(#20005) and got to wondering how the plastic shield that covers the drive belt on top of the deck, is removed.
I didn't see any screws on the top,or bottom of the deck. anybody know how its removed other than the dealer?
thanks

I guess mine is similar to yours being a model 20016. I haven't done it but your question made me go look. I think those two 3/8" bolts under the deck will take the plastic cover off. I don't know how to explain where I'm talking about but hopefully this description might make it evident.
Looking at the cover as if you were mowing, one is on the front right corner and the other is on the left side kinda even with the muffler. The bolts are on the bottom of the deck though.
Maybe there is some buildup hiding these bolts?
Those are my words of encouragement :-)

I saw the two bolts your talking about, but thought they were for bolting the engine to the deck.

The screws that hold the cover on are located near the front of the mower housing by the transmission.

More specifically, they're foolishly located on the underside of the mower deck in the vicinity of the transmission. Have a look at this link to the parts breakdown https://homeownersolutions.toro.com/portal/server.pt?space=CommunityPage&cached=true&parentname=CommunityPage&parentid=1&in_hi_userid=19462&control=SetCommunity&CommunityID=214&PageID=238#46-8091

I found the two screws right where you folks said they would be. One of the screws was covered with gunk and hard to see. I removed them with a spin tight as that was the only tool i could get onto one of them.
Thanks again.
