Stihl 010AV Chainsaw oil problem

Hey everybody, my Stihl 010AV chainsaw (I love it) is used a couple of times a year, I'm a carpenter and as such a tool fiend! It's a funny thing, but chippies seem to have more tools than any other trade, and we love our tools! Anyway, I just went to cut up some railway sleepers, for a friend, and noticed that although it's full of oil, none was being thrown onto the chain. You know because you're looking at it as it cuts, and you can see the chain getting hot! Unfortunately I don't have a manual and am not quite sure how to remedy this problem. Can any of you guys help? I'd be very grateful for any advice. Thanks, Brendangreen.

Usually I find a lack of oil problem to be at the bar. Pull the bar, and look at the side of the saw where the bar mates against the saw. There is a passage there where the oil comes out. Make sure it is not blocked. Then make sure that passage has clear access to the hole in the bar for the oil to go.
