push mowers hard to crank
I have two push mowers, both are hard to crank and get started. The only way that I can get them to start is spray starting fluid into the carburetors. When I do that, they will start and run just fine. One has a Briggs and Stratton engine and the other has a Techumsa. Thanks in advance for any help or tips on fixing this problem.

Sound like you will need to service the carburetor on each one. The fact that you spray starting fluid into the carb throat and it still will not stay running indicates a fuel restriction in the carb or a lack of necessary vacuum and compression in the combustion chamber. But, I'd say it is a carb issue though.
