Pressure Washer Question/Commet

I purchased a new pressure washer (model: Best Bee Clean BB2500, 5HP) on the internet and I'm really enjoying it! The washer is very powerful, yet light, and I was power washing all weekend! A really great value too.

Now that I'm hooked on pressure washing, I was wondering if I really needed to start using detergents? I haven't so far, but have been impressed with the results. I have dogs & plants, so I didn't want to use harsh chemicals around them.

Should I just continue to use water only? Or is it worth it to buy detergents?

Welcome to the forums Pat

A lot depends on what you are cleaning. I'm not fond of using the pump's siphon unit and not all chemicals are good for the pump. I usually apply the cleaning agent with a pump up garden sprayer. IMO it gives you better control. You can either cover up plants or keep them well rinsed to minimize any damage.
