Honda ES6500 generator,replace crank seal

What's the procedure for removing the generator from the engine to get at crank seal. I have mount bolts out, long crank bolt out and four long bolts that go into gen housing out. Thanks

A special puller bolt that you likely won't find at the corner shop. The engine crankshaft is tapered and needs to be scared off and the puller bolt is the best, but not only way, to remove the armature from the crankshaft. To save you alot of money, I'd rather see you take it to a generator repair shop and pay them a small amount to remove the armature for you. I'd rather not tell you my procedure suggestion for removing it without the proper tool, you can damage the armature/generator beyond use if you aren't careful and unaware of what you're doing.
