Briggs & Strat 8 HP rod journal size?

Hello I am trying to figure out what the standard rod journal size is for my dads wood splitter, The rod came apart in several pieces. The numbers for the engine are as follows
Model Number: 190432 / Type: 2535 / Trim: 01 / CODE: 3061310

The crank looks to be ok has a layer of aluminum on it looks like it will clean up though
Just need to know if it is standard size or not.
Thanks in advance
Jerry

Here's link to B&S Engine Check Chart

http://faqs.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/faq...p?p_faqid=3449

Threw a rod ??
Nothing else damaged internally ??
I'd be leary of trying to dress up a crank journal.
btw, the 'code' of eng model is askew,
1st 6 nums of code is date of assembly, yymmddxx
thanks,
