Echo blower stall

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

We have a 3 year old Echo hand held gas blower. Worked like a charm weekly for 3 years until last week. Starts o.k., but upon running after turning the choke off, it slows and eventually stalls.

Am thinking it's the carb or water in the tank.

Should approach be dry gas, followed by carb cleaner additive? Something else?

Thanks. AW

You have a fuel restriction.
Check the fuel filter in the tank, the fuel lines, remove the muffler and check that the spart arrestor is not clogged.
If all that checks out it is time to remove the carb and give it a good cleaning in a bath type carb cleaner then blow out all holes, cracks and crevases with brake parts cleaner then install a new diaphgram kit and you should be good for another 3 years. Have a good one. Geo
