BP250 homelite backpack blower

Hello guys
I have been having problems with this machine. My main concern with this is what is the right kind of compresson for this unit?I can only get about 98lbs.It will run if i hold the throttle wide open but don't have full power. And will not idle.I have tried to adjust the carb but it does not change it any. This is what i have already done to it.Put in new carb kit, sparkplug, fuel filter and lines, fresh fuel mixture. Also checked the screen in the muffler.Just wondering if it is the compression, gaskets, seals etc. Thanks in advance mowerman.

That compression should be sufficient. Check the cylinder to be sure it isn't loose on the block. If it's tight, I'd suspect you still have carb problems.
