Yamaha EF5000DVE gerator

I clean the caburator and had to disconnect the governor. Now when I put a load on the generator the engine does not came up to the right RPM. What is the right way to set the governor so this does not happen

Sorry, I know nothing about Yamaha small engines. I didn't even know they made generators. Stay tuned, someone here may know about them.

Generally, to set a governor, you hold the carb at wide open throttle, along with the throttle linkage, and position the governor shaft at the wide open throttle setting, and tighten the clamping screw.

Anytime!

Was it actually help, or did I just add to the confusion?
