Question about correct spark plug to use

Hello,
I have a Yard machine snow thrower that was bought online at Amazon .com several years ago, I believe Fall of 2003.

The manual that came with it shows the model number as being MTD E640F
although on Amazon.com the product page described it as:
Yard Machine 31AS640F352
8 HP
Two-Stage Snowthrower
8.0 HP Tecumseh engine with electric start
26" clearing width and 21" intake
6 forward and 2 reverse speeds
12" impeller
16" Sno Hog tires

The model number on the snowthrower itself is:
31AS640F3521646633
here is a link to the Amazon product page:
http://www.amazon.com/Yard-Machines-.../dp/B0000ZPVMM

I cannot find any label on the engine to identify it.
And there was no engine manual that came with it.

I have no idea what spark plug to purchase as the markings on the plug I removed are not very readable.
As far as I can tell it looks like either
Champion RJ17LM or RJ19LM
Would anyone here know which is the correct plug?
Also, are those 2 Champion spark plugs interchangeable?
And would anyone know where the engine label might be hiding on this particualr snowthrower model?
Any help much appreciated!

The correct plug for this is the J19LM. The J17LM will work and is used in tillers, garden tractors. 19 is a hotter plug and used for cold weather operation where the 17 is a colder plug used for warm weather operation.
Your engine #is LH318SA-156553.
The ID label is found near the bottom on the right side of the fan housing(housing that the recoil starter is bolted to).
