Spicer transaxle questions

I have a billy goat brush mower that has a spicer 4360-199CH transaxle in it. Someone dropped it (not me) and pretty much trashed the transaxle case. I'm looking for a used one and was wondering do all these 4360 series with two sets of bolt holes on the ends have the same mounting dimensions? And do they all expect the input shaft to be turned clockwise? I was thinking I could probably swap the axles and as long as it has a few forward speeds and reverse, it would work for me. Also does anyone know of a good source for these used besides ebay? Here's a couple pictures of mine. It is aprox 16 1/4" from center to center of the outer bolt holes.

Check with surpluscenter.com. They sometimes have used equipment like this on hand. Good luck

I've had success interchanging the 4360 series units and parts from unit to unit, but there are many variations within the series. You might be ok by measuring the distance from the mounting holes on one end to the other and make sure the axle diameter and input shaft rotation is the same.
